Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
